Violence Prevention and Response

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is committed to a safe and nonviolent environment for all students, faculty, staff and visitors. Acts of violence and threats of violence are not acceptable and will not be tolerated. Violent acts and threats of violence should be reported to the campus police immediately.

In service of its commitment to the welfare, health and safety of all those in its campus community, the campus has developed and maintains a comprehensive Campus Violence Prevention Plan (PDF) which can be found on the Division of Public Safety’s Website at www.dps.illinois.edu
