Three-Wheel Scooters

Do not overload or tow scooters; only driver may ride in operator’s compartment.

These guidelines should be followed for the safe operation of three-wheel scooters:

  1. The driver should be the only one in the operator’s compartment.
  2. Do not attempt to tow the scooter.
  3. Avoid overloading the vehicle. Excessive weight in the rear of some models causes the front guiding wheel to lose traction and renders the vehicle impossible to steer.

These guidelines should be reviewed with all operators of such equipment.
