All campus units must immediately refer requests made under FOIA to the Chief Records Officer, External Relations and Communications, by providing the request electronically via email at email@example.com. The director of External Relations and Communications serves as the Chief Records Officer for the Urbana university, as well as for the Chicago and Springfield universities and for the System Offices.
